Privacy notices and consent (DPDP)

India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) asks you to tell people what you do with their data, in a language they read, and to respect their consent. PropZolo keeps the notices, the consent and the proof.

Publish a privacy notice

   Go to Settings → Privacy & data → Consent & notices.

   Write the notice for each purpose (general, enquiries, marketing). Start with English, then add Hindi and other languages your buyers read — 13 languages are supported. Separate paragraphs with a blank line.

   Publish. It becomes the version in force on your forms, landing pages and the public notice page, and the previous version is retired. Published versions cannot be edited — publish a new one instead.

Consent on each contact

A contact’s consent panel shows, per channel (WhatsApp, SMS, email, calls), what they agreed to, on what basis (an enquiry, explicit consent on a form, an existing customer), when, and the notice version they saw. Forms record consent with the exact text the person agreed to.

Withdrawals

People withdraw consent by replying STOP, using an email unsubscribe link, or asking you. Record a withdrawal on the contact’s consent panel; from then on, promotions on that channel are blocked for them everywhere in PropZolo.
