Keeping data forever is a risk. Retention policies let you decide how long each kind of record stays — for example, purge invalid and junk leads after 6 months — and PropZolo does the cleanup.
Set a policy
- Go to Settings → Privacy & data → Retention & legal holds.
- Pick the kind of record — invalid leads, lost leads, message contents, call recordings or raw lead payloads — and the period.
- Preview to see how many records it covers today.
- Enable it.
Records past their period are purged every night in batches. People under a legal hold are skipped. You can also run the enabled policies now.
Legal holds
A legal hold pauses deletion for a person — for bookings under dispute, tax assessments, RERA complaints and court cases. Neither retention purges nor erasure requests touch them while the hold stands. Give the hold an end date, or leave it empty to hold until released. Release it when the matter closes; the person’s records then follow retention policies and erasure requests again.
