Duplicates and re-enquiries
What happens when a known person enquires again — re-enquiries, reopened leads, labelled duplicates and sticky owners.

On this page
The same buyer often enquires on 99acres on Monday, on your Facebook ad on Wednesday and calls your office on Friday. PropZolo recognises them by phone number (any of their numbers) and never creates a silent duplicate — or silently merges two people.
What happens by default
| The person already has… | PropZolo… |
|---|---|
| An open lead of the same type (buy, rent, sell…) | adds the new enquiry to that lead as a re-enquiry, moves it up and tells the owner |
| A won lead (they already bought or rented) | creates a new lead, labelled as a duplicate of the earlier one |
| A lost or invalid lead from the last 180 days | reopens it as New · Re-enquired |
When the lead goes to an owner, the person who handled them before gets it again if they are still active (sticky owner, within a year).
Where you see it
- The lead’s Enquiries list shows every touch with its source and date — useful for attribution.
- A labelled duplicate links to the lead it duplicates, so you can open both.
- A lead nobody worked yet shows Re-enquired; a lead in progress keeps its stage and the timeline tells the owner.
